On September 10, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong, Vice President of Foreign Trade University, chaired a meeting with the delegation from Kanto Gakuin University (Japan).
The delegation from Kanto Gakuin University included Prof. Hiroki Yoshida, Vice President, and Mr. Yukifumi Eguchi, Director of the Center for External Relations.
Representing Foreign Trade University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Kien, Director of International Affair; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tang Van Nghia, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, along with representatives from various departments and falcuties.
During the meeting, Prof. Hiroki Yoshida emphasized the desire to expand collaborative activities, such as student exchange and postgraduate training, especially programs that enhance international learning experiences, including short-term and internship programs abroad for graduate students.
In her remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong expressed Foreign Trade University's readiness to implement collaborative activities proposed by Kanto Gakuin University and hoped to discuss these partnerships in more detail in the future as more information on the needs of graduate students from both institutions becomes available.
Within the framework of the meeting, representatives from both sides also discussed further opportunities for cooperation in postgraduate training, research, and other partnership programs.
