This event marked a significant step forward in the partnership between the two institutions in training and developing Hotel Management programs. Within the same agenda, the "Talkspitality Session: Innovation Skills In The Service Sector" also took place, featuring Dr. Jorge Arnanz – President of César Ritz Colleges Switzerland.

From FTU, participants included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Hien – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Kien – Head of the Office of International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA); Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh – Vice Dean of FBA; along with lecturers and students of the Hotel Management orientation program.
Swiss Education Group is a leading global hospitality education group with a prestigious portfolio of Swiss-based institutions such as César Ritz Colleges, Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, Hotel Institute Montreux, and Swiss Hotel Management School. The agreement marks a milestone in enhancing the quality of FTU’s international career-oriented Hotel Management program. According to the signed MOU, both parties will collaborate in areas such as student and faculty exchange, credit transfer programs, joint seminars, resource sharing, specialized training, and curriculum development. This partnership not only provides FTU students with global learning and career development opportunities but also contributes to the enhancement of human resources in Vietnam’s hospitality sector.
Following the signing ceremony was a session led by SEG’s representatives. Students of the international career-oriented Hotel Management program were introduced to innovation thinking skills in the service, tourism, and hospitality industries. Dr. Jorge Arnanz presented practical, relatable, and inspiring examples that gave students a fresh perspective on ideation processes, people-centered innovation, and the application of innovation in real hotel environments. The session concluded with an engaging discussion filled with insightful questions and new knowledge, offering students a valuable academic experience and global mindset development as future hoteliers.
The collaboration between FTU and SEG promises to build a strong foundation for students to access international education standards, learn from experienced professionals, and expand career opportunities in the global hospitality sector.
