JIEM Aims and Scope
Journal of International Economics and Management (JIEM) is published by the Foreign Trade University. Previously known as External Economics Review (EER) from 2002 to 2019, it adopted the name JIEM in 2019. JIEM publishes 3 issues per year in March, July, and November.
JIEM is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on economics, finance and business issues across global, regional, national, and local levels within the context of global sustainability. The journal aims to remain current with the latest developments in research while also shaping the agenda for future analyses. JIEM publishes rigorous theoretical and empirical research adopting both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
JIEM invites submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

The target audience for JIEM’s articles includes academics and researchers, economists, social scientists, international agencies, non-governmental organizations, policymakers, administrators, business professionals, and practitioners.
