On May 22, 2025, Foreign Trade University welcomed high-level delegation from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF), France, for a working session, the renewal of their MOU, and discussions on new directions for future collaboration.
The UPHF delegation included Dr. Arnaud Huftier – Vice President in charge of Boad of Administration and in charge of Culture, Initiatives and Citizenship; Dr. Mourad Abed – Vice President in charge ofDigital Technology, Educational Innovation and Project Strategy; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Muoi – in charge of International Relations in Southeast Asia.
From FTU, the delegation was received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Kien – Directorof International Affairs; Ms. Dao Thi Thu Ha – Deputy Director of International Affairs; and Ms. Nguyen Dieu Thai – ViceDean in charge of the Faculty of French.
This working session held special significance as it marked a new milestone in the cooperation established since 2012 between the two reputable and internationally engaged institutions. During the event, both sides renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Student Exchange Agreement, reflecting their current and future development strategies.
The session provided an opportunity to reflect on more than a decade of fruitful collaboration, from student and faculty exchanges, seminar organization, to the implementation of joint training programs. Both sides also discussed new initiatives and formats to better meet the evolving needs of students in the context of dynamic global education trends.
This meeting not only affirmed the mutual trust between the two institutions but also underscored their shared commitment to long-term development for the benefit of students, faculty, and the academic community of both countries. Moving forward, FTU and UPHF will continue to promote comprehensive cooperation, contributing to sustainable and globally relevant educational values.
