On August 19, 2024, FTU organized an Information Session on the student exchange program for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The event aimed to update information on the Spring 2025 exchange program, answer questions for interested students, and connect students interested in studying abroad with students who have participated in exchanges and partner university students currently on exchange at FTU.

The program began with an introduction by Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Program Coordinator at the Office of International Affairs, who shared the latest information on program requirements and benefits of the exchange program. The student exchange program provides a short-term overseas study experience at a reasonable cost, allowing students to explore the world, participate in advanced education systems, and have their academic results recognized at FTU.

During the session, students could also address inquiries about the exchange program with Ms. Le Thi Thanh Luong, Program Coordinator at the Office of International Affairs, who answered questions on what to consider when joining the exchange program, costs, study paths, and application preparation. This information not only helps students understand their path but also lays the groundwork for selecting schools, building study plans, and strategically preparing applications.

The session became even more meaningful and helpful with the participation of exchange program alumni – students who recently completed exchange terms in Korea, Russia, France, and more. The alumni representatives shared their experiences and insights about exchange program preparations, both academically and mentally, from before applying to after completing their studies at partner institutions. The alumni's stories resonated with students aspiring to participate in the exchange program and left a strong impression, inspiring students dreaming of studying abroad.

Contributing to the success of the session was the participation of current international students studying at FTU, who acted as enthusiastic ambassadors by introducing their home universities and highlighting unique aspects of their academic programs, educational environment, and cultures. The presentations by these "home" representatives helped FTU students imagine what life would be like when studying abroad. It also inspired and motivated them to look forward to their own upcoming international academic journeys.

In the latter part of the session, exchange program alumni and current international students were divided into consultation booths by country to advise new students interested in registering for the upcoming exchange program. Students had the opportunity to discuss, talk, and explore more about their intended exchange destinations.
