From March 4, 2024 to March 13, 2024, the Office of International Affairs, Foreign Trade University coordinated with Kanda University of International Studies (Japan) to organize a cultural exchange and Vietnamese language learning program for Japanese students.
This is a periodic international cooperation activity for many years between Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS) and Foreign Trade University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, M.A. Dao Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of International Affairs, Foreign Trade University sent a warm welcome to KUIS students and wished them an effective course. and experience Vietnamese culture.
This year's course attracted 07 KUIS students to attend and all were first-year students. During the course, KUIS students practiced Vietnamese language and studied about Vietnamese culture through the topics introducing about Vietnam: music and performing arts; traditional costumes; cuisine; tourism; and Shopping and boutiques in Hanoi. In addition, KUIS students can also interact with students from the Study Abroad Club and Japanese Club of Foreign Trade University through exchange sessions and outside learning support activities.
At the closing ceremony of the program, M.A. Dao Thi Thu Hasent congratulations to KUIS students who have completed the course. She gave more determination to the students by affirming that although Vietnamese is difficult, with hard work and diligence, they would definitely succeed.
The Vietnamese language program has left many good impressions on KUIS students about a Vietnam which is rich in culture, unique in art, cuisine and warm human love. Foreign Trade University is dynamic with young students. talent and enthusiasm. Hopefully in the near future, the School will welcome more international students to experience studying and learning about Vietnamese culture.
