From12/2/2025to 16/2/2025, a delegation from Foreign Trade University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien, Vice President, attended the annual international conference of Vatel School of Hotel & Tourism Business (Vatel) in Bahrain.
The delegation also included Assoc. Prof.Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc – Dean of the Faculty of International Education, and Assoc. Prof.Dr. Le Thai Phong – Dean of theFaculty of Business Administration.
The Vatel annual international conference is a significant event where Vatel’s global partners discuss pressing issues in the hospitality and tourism industry, particularly the impact of younger generations (Gen Z, Gen Alpha) on the job market and educational programs. Recognizing this, Vatel France and its partners, including Foreign Trade University, continually update and innovate their training programs to meet the evolving demands of young professionals and the labor market. The conference provided an opportunity for institutions to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and integrate the latest knowledge into their curricula.
At the conference, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien presented insights on how training institutions can adapt to equip students with practical skills that align with employer expectations.
Additionally, faculty members met and engaged with students from the International Bachelor’s Program in Hospitality Management at Vatel Bahrain, discussing their academic experiences and aspirations in the hospitality industry.
