On June 17th, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President of Foreign Trade University had a meeting to welcome and work with the delegation of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (China).
The delegation of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law was led by Prof. Dr. Xu Diyu - Vice President. Also visiting and working at Foreign Trade University were MSc. Wan Li - Head of International Cooperation Department; MSc. Huang Junxiong - Secretary of the Party Cell of the Institute of Journalism and Communication; Dr. Xu Jingwu - Head of Logistics Department; MSc. Liu Qi - Head of the Office of the Institute of International Education.
On the side of Foreign Trade University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Kien - Director of International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Nam - Head of Department ofResearch Administration; Dr. Nguyen Quang Sang - Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Language; Dr. Ha Cong Anh Bao - Dean of Faculty of Law.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong sent her greetings to Professor, Dr. Tu Dich Vu and delegates from the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong hopes that with the great potential for cooperation as well as the premise of the Framework Agreement signed in 2023, in the coming time, the two schools will have more cooperation programs, specifically in training, student exchange and scientific research. ...
Also at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tu Dich Vu thanked the warm welcome from the leaders of Foreign Trade University. With similarities in development orientation, he hopes that the two units will focus on building and implementing cooperation activities between the two sides. He hopes that in the near future, the two schools can discuss signing an agreement on annual student exchange activities so that students have opportunities to access new education systems, and especially have more opportunities to study, experience cultural exchange.
In order to encourage cooperation between the two units, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law proposed to have short-term scholarship policies for students with good academic performance from Foreign Trade University to go on exchange.
Also at the meeting, delegates discussed the potential for cooperation in scientific research, organizing international scientific conferences, etc…
