On May 9, 2024, the Office of International Affairs, Foreign Trade University organized a "Buddy Matching - Finding companions" session for exchange students going to foreign partner schools in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The program aims to connect students who are about to go on exchange in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year with students who have participated in exchange programs abroad and international students currently on exchange at Foreign Trade University.

At the exchange session, students were divided into groups according to the exchange country. In the first group discussion, students got to know each other, shared experiences in making documents, experiences in preparing luggage before flying and right when arriving in the country where they were going on exchange.

In the next part of the session - "Matching", the FTUstudents participated in a game to pair up with international students who are currently on exchange at the school. After being paired into groups, the students had the opportunity to communicate, interact, and work in groups to win the group challenge.

The event created a playground connecting students who are about to go on exchange, have gone on exchange, and international students. From this event, the students have a network of friends at school and internationally to support each other in the process of completing the exchange application ahead and help each other in the process of participating in the exchange at the partner school in the near future.
