Representing Elsevier were Mr. Leo Juan, Director of Software Solutions, and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh, University Market Director at iGroup's representative office. From the University of Foreign Trade, the meeting included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Thuy Anh, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Economics and Management; M.A. Dao Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of International Affairs; representatives from the Office of Research Administration; and other university staff members.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien began the meeting by welcoming the representatives from Elsevier and iGroup. He provided a brief overview of the university, emphasizing its mission, vision, and overall goal of becoming a leading multi-disciplinary and multi-field university in Vietnam. He highlighted its focus on economics, business, innovation, and entrepreneurship, aiming to deliver excellence in education, scientific research, and community service, with a high standing in the Asia region.

During the meeting, Elsevier's representatives shared information about PURE, a research information and resource management solution, as well as other solutions designed to enhance research capacity and international university rankings (such as Scopus and SciVal). Both sides engaged in discussions to gain a clearer understanding of PURE's features and its suitability for the university's needs.
