On March 19, 2024, the Institute of International Economics and Business, the University of Foreign Trade welcomed the delegation from Highline College (USA) to visit, work and discuss cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
Attending the meeting, on the side of Highline College there is Dr. Michael Pham - Vice President for Administration; Dr. Emily Lardner - Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with 16 delegates from the faculties and departments of the school.
On the side of the University of Foreign Trade there are M.A. Dao Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director of School of Economics and International Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Binh - Head of Office of Legal Research Management and Partnership Development, School of Economics and International Business Institute, faculty members of Logistics and supply chain management, and representatives of the student communities of the training programs of the International Economics and Business Institute.
Opening the exchange, M.A. Dao Thi Thu Ha and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong sent warm welcome to the delegates of Highline College, as well as emphasizing the meaning of the visit of the University in enhancing the cooperation relationship, strengthening the exchange and expanding cooperation between the two sides.
Also within the framework of the meeting, the Delegation of Highline College shared the joy and appreciated the cooperation between the two schools before the achievements achieved in recent times. Both sides are eager to awaken and develop research, teaching and exchange activities of faculty and students of two schools. This promises to contribute to the realization of the goals and vision of the two Schools, especially in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
After the exchange, the delegation of Highline College came to exchange with students specialized in Logistics and supply chain management in the “Operation and Production Management” section under Dr. Nguyen Minh Phuc - Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, School of Economics and International Business Institute. The delegation also spends time visiting the campus of the Foreign Trade University.
