On November 23, 2023, the university leadership hosted a meeting and working session with the delegation from the University of Adelaide (Australia) and organized a seminar on "Issues and Options for Reforming the World Trade Organization (WTO)."
Attending the meeting with the delegation from the University of Adelaide, Foreign Trade University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Thuy Anh - Editor-in-Chief of JIEM Journal, Dr. Vu Huyen Phuong - Deputy Head of the Science Management Department, and other university officials.
The delegation from the University of Adelaide, visiting and working with Foreign Trade University, included Prof. Peter Draper - Director of the International Trade Institute and Assoc. Prof. Shandre Thangavelu - Director of Southeast Asia - International Economic Research Center.
During the working session, representatives from both sides discussed various collaborative programs in scientific research, journal publications, and strengthening international cooperation between the two institutions. As part of this visit, Prof. Peter Draper conducted a seminar for faculty members, students, and doctoral candidates on the topic "Issues and Options for Reforming the World Trade Organization."
