On October 14, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Hien – Vice President of Foreign Trade University – chaired a reception and working session with representatives of the Swiss Education Group (SEG).
SEG is one of the world’s leading education systems in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, and Culinary Arts, comprising prestigious institutions such as César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, Hotel Institute Montreux, and Swiss Hotel Management School.
Attending the meeting, on the SEG side, were Mr. Claudio Raccanello – Executive Director of Admissions & Student Services, and Ms. Tamara Cudre-Mauroux – Director of Partnerships and Development.
On the FTU side were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Hien – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Kien – Director of International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Bui Thu Hien – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Khanh Chi – Head of the Hotel Management Division, Faculty of Business Administration, along with lecturers from the Hotel Management Division.
During the working session, representatives from both sides discussed orientations for expanding cooperation in areas such as the master's pathway program at César Ritz Colleges Switzerland for students in Hotel Management; joint research and academic exchange between faculty members; and the development of student exchange programs, international internships, and short-term study programs in Switzerland. Both sides also expressed the desire to strengthen thematic seminars and training collaboration aimed at deepening the internationalization of the Hotel Management curriculum at FTU.
FTU representatives highly appreciated the strong cooperation and support from SEG and affirmed that this meeting marks an important step in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two sides.
At the end of the working session, both institutions expressed their expectations for new development opportunities, particularly in student and faculty exchange as well as future academic collaboration initiatives.
