On December 19, 2024, the Institute of Entrepreneur Instruction and Training (iEIT), Foreign Trade University, in collaboration with the Korea Management Consulting Company (KMAC), organized the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the "KMAC - FTU Global Innovation Ideas 2024" contest at the Hanoi Headquarters.

The program officially concluded the meaningful journey of the international contest.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Korea Management Consulting Company (KMAC) - the sponsor of the contest, were Mr. Han Su Hee - General Director; Mr. Song Kwang Ho - Head of Enterprise Evaluation Department; Ms. Shin Hyo Sook - Senior Manager; Ms. Lee Heejung - Professor of Cha University; and a number of officers and employees of the company.

On the side of Foreign Trade University, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - Dean of iEIT Institute; Dr. Nguyen Thi Khanh Trinh – Vice Dean of iEIT Institute; Dr. Bui Thu Hien - ViceDean of Faculty of Business Administration; MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Bich - Chief of Office; Dr. Nguyen Hong Van - Lecturer of Faculty of Business Administration. The program also had the presence of members from 10 finalist teams in Vietnam, important factors contributing to the overall success of the competition: BINKS team, Ecominds team, EcoPie team, FinGi team, GypFoam team, Green Flags team, Mentor A+ team, Natural Pals team, Oilchain team, and Open CTE team.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Han Su Hee shared. “We organize the competition with the desire to expand opportunities for students, not only in terms of developing creative ideas but also in terms of building valuable connections. KMAC hopes that through this playground, students can confidently step out into the world, apply the knowledge they have learned to create a positive impact on the community. In particular, we respectfully invite students to visit Korea to experience the culture, the developed economy and expand their international vision.”

On behalf of iEIT Institute - the unit directly organizing and coordinating the competition in Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh emphasized: "This competition is not only a creative playground but also a great opportunity for Foreign Trade University students in particular and Vietnamese students in general to reach international standards. This is an opportunity for young people to show their talents, enthusiasm and desire for innovation with international friends. We believe that, with the spirit of continuous learning and creativity, students will achieve many successes and make practical contributions to the community".

With the theme “Green Startup”, the “KMAC – FTU Global Innovation Ideas 2024” contest has promoted students’ creativity in proposing and developing sustainable development ideas for the community, contributing to solving global issues. The contest has attracted the participation of students from leading universities in Vietnam such as: Foreign Trade University; Ho Chi Minh City National University; National Economics University; University of Construction; Da Nang University; Banking Academy; University of Commerce, Women’s Academy… The contest is not only an open creative playground but also a bridge for cultural exchange and experience sharing between Vietnam and Korea, creating opportunities for access and cooperation, introducing Vietnamese students to businesses in Vietnam.

At the Award Ceremony, Mr. Han Soo Hee solemnly presented gifts to the Jury, presented certificates to the Top 10 teams, and awarded cash prizes to the Champion team (BINKS) and 4 Runner-up teams (EcoPie, Mentor A+, Natural Pals, GypFoam)

The ceremony ended with emotional sharing from the representative of the BINKS Champion team - Student Tran Nhan Kiet, University of Da Nang about the learning value and development opportunities that the competition brought, marking an inspiring journey.
