On December 10, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong, Vice President of Foreign Trade University, hosted a reception and working session with H.E. Md Lutfor Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Vietnam.
During the reception, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong warmly welcomed the Ambassador and his delegation, expressing her delight at hosting him at Foreign Trade University. In her remarks, she provided an overview of the university, emphasizing its pioneering role in training high-quality human resources for global integration. Notably, she expressed a strong desire to enhance educational cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh to promote the comprehensive development of both nations.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues related to educational development. Vice President Pham Thu Huong shared detailed information about the university’s undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, policies supporting international students, and career opportunities after graduation. Additionally, topics such as research collaboration, student exchange programs, short-term training courses, and academic transitions with international partner institutions were discussed to expand global learning and experience opportunities for students.
In his speech, Ambassador Md Lutfor Rahman expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from the university. He highly regarded Foreign Trade University's reputation and its significant contributions to education and training, highlighting the vast potential for deeper cooperation between both parties.
