On January 22, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President of the Foreign Trade University presided over a meeting with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam. 

Visiting and attending the meeting from the Russian Embassy was Mr. Sergei Androsov - Economic Counselor. 

Representing the University of Commerce were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Nam - Head of Department of Research Administration; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Xuan Binh – Deanof the Faculty of International Economics; Ms. Dao Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Director of the Office of international Affairs also attended the meeting. 

Mr. Sergei Androsov has recently taken office and been in Vietnam for 2 months, choosing the Foreign Trade University as the first university to visit to learn about the university and the economic development of Vietnam. He is very interested in Vietnam's economy, what the economy has gone through, and the prospects for development in the future. The university leaders introduced the university and shared information about Vietnam's economy with Mr. Sergei Androsov.

Mr. Sergei Androsov expressed his desire to have more school visits and participate in seminars and scientific discussions at the Foreign Trade University to better understand the University as well as the economy of Vietnam.
