On January 5, 2024, the Office of International Affairs of Foreign Trade University organized the “Orientation for international exchange students coming to the Spring Semester of the academic year 2023-2024”. The event aimed to welcome international students who came to exchange and study at the university.

 The program was attended by Ms. Dao Thi Thu Ha, M.Ed. - Deputy Directorof the Office of International Affairs, specialists from theOffice of International Affairs, and international students participating in this session.

 In her opening speech, Ms. Dao Thi Thu Ha warmly welcomed the international students, who will soon become members of the Foreign Trade University. Ms. Dao Thi Thu Ha expressed her hope that through this program, Foreign TradeUniversitywould gain more recognition on the international stage and attract more international students to come to Foreign Trade University for studying. Finally, she expressed her hope that the exchange students would have a wonderful time at the university in particular and in Vietnam in general.

 During the orientation session, international students were briefed on the basic aspects of theForeign Trade University, including academic matters, training programs, internship opportunities, and job prospects in Vietnamese businesses. Subsequently, international students had the chance to be introduced to and make friends with local students responsible for supporting them.

 Within the framework of the program, international students also toured aroundthe university campus, received guidance on using the facilities, and learned about the resources available for their studies. The orientation session served as an initial step to provide essential information for international students to quickly integrate into the learning environment at the university and in Vietnam.
