The delegation from Foreign Trade University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Chairwoman of the University Council, participated in the 14th Conference of Rectors of the Member Institutions of the Francophone University Association (AUF) in the Asia-Pacific region (CONFRASIE). The conference took place in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia, from October 11 to October 13, 2023.

The conference was held at the ITC Institute of Technology (Kingdom of Cambodia) and saw the participation of nearly 100 delegates, including leaders, managers, scientists, and experts from more than 80 universities and educational institutions across 11 member countries of AUF in the Asia-Pacific region.

With the theme "French Language Sciences - Leveraging Increased Attractiveness and Internationalization of Higher Education in Asia-Pacific," the conference aimed to achieve objectives such as strengthening cooperation within the AUF Scientific Community network, promoting connections, exchanging experts, enhancing faculty and student exchanges, organizing and participating in programs for education leaders, disseminating and applying digital technology in education, and developing professional skills and entrepreneurship for young people. The delegation had the opportunity to engage in discussions, share experiences, connect, and expand cooperation within the Francophone Scientific Community during the conference.

On this occasion, the delegation also participated in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Office of the Francophone University Association (AUF) in the Asia-Pacific region, extending congratulations to Prof. Laurent Sermet - Director of AUF in the Asia-Pacific region.
