This competition was organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Central and the Vietnamese Student Association.

Ms. Nguyen Kieu Trang who has just finished her freshman year at Foreign Trade University with a major in International Economics, Faculty of International Business and Economics, won the first prize at the English Olympic National competition 2017.

She said that the contest was organized in a form of online exam, which was quite convenient for students, focusing on English and social knowledge. Before going to the contest, Trang has reviewed recent highlight articles and prepare to learn from everyone.

Trang shared her experience of learning English: "The most important thing when learning a language was constant training and the opportunity to practice. This was my first time winning an English competition, so when I was named to receive the first prize, I was very happy and surprised."
