There was 2 teams from FTU that attened this competition: the Mathematical Olympiad Team of FTU Hanoi including 8 students which was led by Dr. Phung Duy Quang - Dean of the Basic Sciences Faculty and team of FTU Ho Chi Minh City Campus including 10 students under the guidance of lecturers of FTU Ho Chi Minh City Campus.

In the atmosphere of learning exchange, the Mathematical Olympiad Team of Hanoi Foreign Trade University won 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. The team from FTU Ho Chi Minh City Campus won 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.

In addition to the main activities of the competition, the teams also participated in other activities such as exchanging with Vietnam Military Medical University, Can Tho University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Science and visiting the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Thien Duong cave, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.

The activities of FTU students at this competition continued to promote the tradition of Foreign Trade University at the National Mathematical Olympiad forum.
