The contest was designed to simulate the form of previous "Ring the Golden Bell" competitions which was held by the Youth Union. 

On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President, Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Head of the Department of Undergraduate Training Management, Msc. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - Head of Political and Student Affairs, MSc. Hoang Tuan Dung - Secretary of Youth Union cum Deputy Director of Student Support Center together with sponsors, many teachers and students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU said that "The Brainiest" was a special format contest with questions of examining the knowledge of the contestants in many fields of study as well as life. This was also a playground for the students to experience the unlimited potential of themselves and explore the endless knowledge of humanity. She also praised the students and wished 100 contestants who won the finals would excel themselves, conquer the pinnacle of knowledge.

The final night of the competition took place in a vibrant atmosphere but equally dramatic with 20 main questions, three sub-questions, a part of the teachers' relief, a part of relief from the audience for the last contestant on the stage and 10 questions for the audience.

The content of questions span across many areas, many subjects from science to life. In particular, there are many questions associated with the general subjects of the first year students of FTU such as: Microeconomics, Macroeconomic, Advanced Math, The Basic Principles of Marxism-Leninism 1, 2, General logics.

Therefore, the questions became close to the learning practice of the contestants which were inspired interesting for the finale.
