The "Soul of Law" is an annual competition that was organized by the FTU Faculty of Law, the Law Consultant Club of the Youth Union of FTU.

There were the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tang Van Nghia - Dean of PostGraduate, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc - Dean of Faculty of International Education, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang - Dean of the Faculty of Law together with lectures and students.

Throughout the two challenging rounds, the sixth season of the Soul of Law entitled "Banking Finance" has entered the final night with 9 best contestants from Foreign Trade University, Law University, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam that divided into 3 teams: NNC, Whatever, The Advocates.

The final night consists of 3 stages: Quick Answer, Review and Litigation. Over three exciting rounds of competition, the champion of Soul of law 2017 was revealed: that was the NNC team. The runners-up belonged to Whatever team.
