On March 1, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President of the Foreign Trade University (FTU) presided over a reception and working session with the delegation from the Hanoi Office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Attending the working session from the DAAD Hanoi Office was Mr. Felix Wagenfeld - Director of the DAAD Hanoi Office.

From the Foreign Trade University, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Kien - Director of International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuc Hien - Director of the Center of Testing and Quality Assurance, and other university officials.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides briefly introduced their respective organizations. They exchanged information regarding future development directions to explore cooperation opportunities, including: Collaborative opportunities with German universities in developing secondary degree programs (double degree programs) for FTU's regular training programs; Scholarship opportunities for postgraduate (master's, doctoral) training in Germany for FTU students and faculty members; Faculty exchange between FTU and German universities; and Supporting the development of the "Advanced Management Capacity Enhancement Program" at FTU for its management team and for Vietnamese universities in general.
