From October 18 to October 22, 2023, the delegation from Foreign Trade University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President of the University, visited and worked in Ahmedabad and New Delhi, India.

The delegation, headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien, included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong - Head of the School of Business Administration; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Ha - Director of the FTU Innovation and Incubation Space (FIIS); Dr. Vu Huyen Phuong - Deputy Head of the Science Management Office, and lecturers from the School of Business Administration and the School of International Economics.

In Ahmedabad, India, the delegation attended the "Asia Pacific Innovation Conference - APIC 2023," held at Ahmedabad University. This international conference, organized by the Asia-Pacific Innovation Network, focused on innovation, intellectual property, science and technology policies. The network brought together leading scholars in innovation and creativity from universities and research institutions in the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, and Southeast Asia. FTU lecturers actively presented and discussed topics related to entrepreneurship, innovation, human capital, artificial intelligence, and international trade. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien held a working session with the organizing council to discuss plans for hosting APIC 2025 at Foreign Trade University, Vietnam.

On October 22, 2023, the delegation continued its work with the Embassy of Vietnam in New Delhi, India. During the discussion with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Nepal, and Bhutan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in education, trade, and innovation. At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on programs to enhance ongoing bilateral cooperation between the university and the embassy.

The working visit of the Foreign Trade University delegation to India from October 18 to October 22, 2023, achieved several specific successes, including the agreement to organize APIC 2025 in Vietnam and the expansion of collaboration opportunities between the university and educational institutions in India.
