On 09th September, 2017, the Youth Union of the Foreign Trade University (FTU) successfully held the FTU Club's Day 2017 for the freshman students of course 56 at FTU.

From 29th August to 3rd September, 2017, a delegation from Foreign Trade University (FTU) which was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU, had joined the delegation to the Nordic countries of the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam.

On 31st August, 2017, a scholarship ceremony for two students of Foreign Trade University (FTU) took place at the headquarters of Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Yamasaki Masao - General Director of Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd together with a large number of staffs and workers. From FTU, there was the presense of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU.

Mr. Yamasaki Masao expressed his special affection and sincere feelings for the university and FTU students. He was looking forward to have further expanded the opportunities for cooperation. He was also impressed by the excellent academic performance as well as the active social activities of the two students who received the scholarships. He congratulated the two students and wished them to strive harder to deserve the company's expectations.

This is the first year that Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd has been offering scholarships to students of FTU and hopefully in the coming years, the company will give more scholarship opportunities for FTU students.

In response, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU gave a sincere thanks to Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd for giving two scholarships for FTU students, each worth 10 million VND. She was delighted to meet Mr. Yamasaki Masao and showed her good impression of Toto VN. She appreciated the fact that many talented students of FTU had become employees of the company, including students who had now become senior executives of the company.

These generations of students have become high quality human resources, contributing to the reputation and brand of FTU and the growing development of the company.

After that, the officers and employees of Toto VN have been listening to the presentation and sharing about the social activities of FTU students. The two students Ms. Nguyen Tran Thi Oanh and Ms. Le Thi Thuy Ha have shared their interesting experiences in the process of participating in community volunteer activities. These experiences left valuable lessons for the two and contributed to spread the humanitarian message to the whole society. Mr. Yamasaki Masao expressed his deep impression before the emotional and sincere presentation of the two students. He affirmed that the two scholarships which were devotes to FTU students were extremely worthy and have great significance in enhancing the corporate social responsibility.

On 22nd August, 2017, the Foreign Trade University (FTU) held an opening ceremony of the Japanese Accounting Program.

On the evening of July 16th, 2017, the final's night of the English Olympic National competition took place at Da Nang city.

July 09th marked the end of the final round of the Asia Pacific region in the Fresh Connection - Apics Global Student Challenge 2017 competition.

On 13th July, 2017, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between the Foreign Trade University and the University of Canberra (Australia) took place at the Ministry of Science and Technology.

On 27th June, 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of the Foreign Trade University (FTU) had a meeting and signed a framework of cooperation agreement with the University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences (UMDS).

On 19th June, 2017, the representatives of Foreign Trade University (FTU) had a meeting and worked with representatives of the Budapest Business School (BBS), University of Applied Sciences (Hungary)

On June 19th, 2017, Foreign Trade University (FTU) solemnly welcomed the delegates of the National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
