On behalf of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was the presence of Mr. Bui Van Linh - Deputy Director General of the Vietnam's Department of Student Affairs; on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea was Ms. Lee Mi Yon - Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam; From Lotte Group, the host was Mr. Hwang Gyeong Ho - General Director of Lotte Department Store Vietnam and the representative of FTU was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President of FTU.

Ms. Lee Mi Yon - Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam expressed her pleasure to be invited to attend the Lotte Group scholarship award ceremony. She affirmed that the Lotte's annual scholarships that were granted to students with excellent academic achievements from prestigious universities in Vietnam was a living and practical evidence to the good friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

At the ceremony, Mr. Hwang Gyeong Ho - General Director of Lotte Department Store Vietnam stated his great emotion and pride when Lotte scholarship has gone on a road trip for 10 years in Vietnam. He affirmed that the Lotte Scholarship which were granted to Vietnamese students, showed social responsibility, contributed to the discovery and encouragement, motivated talent, created high quality labor force for Lotte Group in particular and developed economic in Vietnam in general. He also congratulated 18 elite students of FTU and gave his sincere thanks to the ambassadors for strengthening the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Korea. He wished the students would continue to strive and develop their talents in order to contribute to the social community and the development of Vietnam.
