In the afternoon of November 24^th 2017, FTU's team won the first prize at the final round of the Northern of KPMG International Case Competition 2018 which was held at the Pullman Hotel.

On November 23^rd 2017, Foreign Trade University (FTU) welcomed the representative of Sumitomo Corporation - Mr. Kitayama Yuichiro visited and had a talk with the students.

On November 22^nd 2017, Foreign Trade University (FTU) was honored to welcome the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Margot Wallstrom to FTU to have a talk with the teachers and students.

On October 28^th 2017, the Closing Ceremony for Training of Trainers on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (TOT2) took place at the Foreign Trade University (FTU).

In the morning of October 29^th 2017, the Final Contest of the Talented Auditors Cup 2017 (TAC 2017) took place at the Pupil - Student Cultural House. 

On October 20th 2017, the Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Program (IPP2) which was cooperated with the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Foreign Trade University (FTU) officially opened the Training Course for Training of Trainers (Tot2) on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Start-up for 32 lecturers from 13 universities at HUST.

On October 16^th 2017, Foreign Trade University (FTU) officially held the opening ceremony of the Bachelor of Business Administration program between FTU and SolBridge International School of Business, Woosong University (South Korea).

On October 16th 2017, the opening ceremony of the Associate Bachelor Program in International Financial Services between the Foreign Trade University (FTU) and the London Metropolitan University (cohort 4) and the Master's degree program in Financial Management between FTU and the University of Rennes 1 (cohort 7) took place at FTU. In addtion, the Graduation Ceremony for FTU - LMET program (cohort 3) was also held on the same day.

On October 17^th 2017, the Lotte Group, Korea held a formal ceremony to award the 20th Lotte Scholarship to 78 students who had excellent academic achievements from 8 universities in Hanoi including Vietnam National University, 18 students of Foreign Trade University (FTU), National Economics University, Hanoi University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National University of Civil Engineering, University of Financial and Banking, Thang Long University.

On 09th October 2017, the Opening Ceremony of the Joint Training Program of the Master of Commerce and Asia-Europe Economic Relations academic year 2017-2018 and the Closing Ceremony of the IMAGERI project took place at the Foreign Trade University (FTU).
