On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President, Vice Dean, teachers and students of faculty of International Business and Economics.

From Colorado State University (CSU), USA, there was Dr. Jim Cooney - Vice President who in charge of International Cooperation, Dr. Ben Withers - President of College of Liberal Arts of Colorado State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anita Pena - Dean of Economic together with coordinators and lecturers of the advanced program.

The signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between FTU and Colorado State University (CSU)

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the two leaders affirmed that the signing of the cooperation agreement has three important meanings which confirmed the quality of training and prestige of both universities, especially for advanced economic program. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU expressed his sincere thanks to representatives of Colorado State University for the effective cooperation during the past years. He told that the advanced economic program which associated with Colorado State University was a successful joint training model.

On the occasion of this signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU also presented the honorific certificate to Prof. Robert Kling on his contribution to the development of the advanced program in the past 10 years.

The conference "Quality Assurance and Training Program Development" at the faculty of International Business and Economics

In the framework of the signing ceremony, the conference "Quality Assurance and Training Program Development" was held at the faculty of International Business and Economics. At the conference, the delegates have listened to four presentations from lecturers from FTU and CSU including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Karen Gebhardt - CSU's lecturer who presented “Dimensions of Quality Assurance at Colorado State University”; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Anh - Deputy Director of Center for Quality Assurance of FTU presented the topic "Quality Assurance System within Foreign Trade University"; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Head of FIBE of FTU presented the topic "Logistics Training at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in Vietnam" and Dr. Pham Duy Hung on "Building a University Curriculum on Logistics and Supply Chain Management".

The presentations focus on building and developing education program that combines theoretical, the work of ensuring, improving the quality of training programs for advanced and high quality programs in general and standard training program in particular, experiences from the University of Colorado and lessons for Foreign Trade University. The participants also had exciting and positive discussions with lecturers and experts  from partner universities.
