On December 13^th, 2019, AEON 1% Club Foundation held a ceremony to award AEON scholarships in 2019 for 16 students of Foreign Trade University (FTU) and several other universities and colleges in Hanoi.

On December 06^th, 2019, FTU Career Fair – Boundless Opportunities took place at Fortuna Hotel. The event was well received and attracted attention from a large number of students of FTU and economics students in Hanoi.

After 3 working days, on November 8th, 2019, the ASEAN Quality Assurance Forum (ASEAN - QA) held a closing session at Foreign Trade University (FTU).

In the morning of December 7^th, 2018, Vietnam Logistics Forum 2018 (VLF) with the theme "Logistics connects economic growth areas" was held in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.  

The 130^th AUN-QA programme assessment at FTU has taken place successfully and ended on January 17^th, 2019. During those days, AUN-QA assessors and secretariat along with FTU faculties and school in charge of the programmes have taken the best efforts to conduct the 130th AUN-QA programme assessment.

Following the success of the 1^st Forum on Internationalization in Higher Education in 2017, Foreign Trade University has held the 2^nd Forum on Internationalization in Higher Education (FIHE2) in Hanoi on October 8^th 2018.

On September 04^th, 2018, Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd held a scholarship ceremony for two students of Foreign Trade University (FTU).

On the morning of August 21^st, 2018, Mr. John Sechrest - a founder of Angel Investors Conference of Seattle cum an international coordinator for Startup Weekend and co-organized Lean Startup Seattle program had the first sharing session with the Start-up teams and young people who were interested in Lean Startup.
