From British Council Vietnam, there was Mr. Danny Whitehead - Director, Steve Adams - Director Examinations in South Asia.

On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa - Dean of Professional English Faculty, MSc. Dao Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Director of International Cooperation. At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan expressed his pleasure to meet the representative of the British Council again. Both sides have reviewed the good results of the meetings, contact and exchanges between the two sides during the past. FTU and BC agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which would open the door for other potential cooperation areas in the future.

The content of the memorandum of understanding focuses on the following issues:

- Provide solutions for effective and accurate English proficiency for the target of FTU's English test.

- Bring opportunities and programs for students of FTU to access official sources related to international examinations which were offered by the British Council, study English resources to prepare for effective international examinations, informations related to education and study in the UK.

- Facilitate for English teachers of FTU to gain access to expert knowledge on assessment of foreign language, teaching resources and the latest assessment methods through activities, professional event and training.
