On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Nam - Head of the Scientific Management Department, Msc. Dao Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department, MSc. Le Phuong Ha - Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and External Relations with the majority of staff, lecturers and students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU delivered a speech at the meeting

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, on behalf of all leaders, staffs, lecturers and students of FTU, he warmly welcomed the Italian Ambassador, representatives of Luiss University and four leading Italian companies to visit and have a talk at FTU. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan also reviewed some achievements in cooperation with universities, businesses, organizations of Italia. He affirmed that Italy was one of the potential partners of FTU, especially in the field of student and lecturer exchange, awarding scholarships to students, scientific research, short term internship as well as associate training program. Finally, he wished the relationship between Vietnam and Italy as well as between FTU and LUISS and Italian businesses would achieve better results in the future.

Ms. Cecilia Piccioni - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italian Republic in Vietnam delivered a speech at the meeting

The Ambassador expressed her sincere thanks to the warm welcome that FTU has given to her personally and Luiss University as well as the Italian businesses. Take a look at the results of friendly cooperation between two countries during the past 45 years, she said that the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Italy has never been as good as it is now. She also expressed her pleasure in long-term and sustainable friendship as well as good cooperation between two countries. She hoped Vietnam and Italy would be able to further strengthen strategic cooperation in the future and contribute to significant achievements for the people of both countries as well as for the international community. The Ambassador also expressed her good impression of FTU and said that she also knew the prestige and reputation of FTU as one of the leading universities in Vietnam and she wished the universities, organizations and businesses of Italia would expand their cooperation with FTU in the near future.

Next, the representative of Luiss University has introduced the history of the formation and development, strengths and achievements, training programs and scholarship opportunities for Vietnamese students. At the end of the meeting was a presentation of four leading Italian companies, including: Piaggio, Ariston Thermo, D' Andrea & Partners, DB Group. Businesses have presented a brief overview of each company and opportunities for internships, jobs for Vietnamese students and answered questions and inquiries from students.
