I. General Information:
Korean Discovery Club – KDC was founded on 13/06/2009. This is a place for anybody who is interested in Korean as a language as well as Korean culture. And it works under the aegis of Foreign Trade University and Asian and Pacific Coconut Community. At the moment, KDC has 4 departments:
- Organization
- Communication
- NT3 (Language and Traditional Art)
- Hallyu

II. Activities:
After having being built and developed for nearly 10 years, KDC now becomes one of the very first clubs that have succeeded in bringing Korean culture closer to Vietnamese students.
With the creativity, passion, and the love for Korea, KDC has hosted and co-hosted successfully many events and received a lot of attention from public as well:
- Korea Discovery Contest (2012)
- Development History of Korean Economy talk show (2011)
- Talk Korea (2012)
- Fly with Korea (2013)
- Stepping Stone - a conversation with Ha Chan Ho – a Campaign Counselor of Samsung Vietnam and an Ex-AEP of Korea in Vietnam.
- REPLAY 2015 & REPLAY 2016 about Korean Dramas and Movies
- Some volunteer campaigns with Korean students
- Hangeul Day
- Hallyu Department has also been invited to a bunch of different events, appeared in lots of media like newspapers or TV programs,… and contests as well. We have also gained some rewards such as: 3rd place in FBA’s Got Talent, 1st place in Kpop Club Festival 2014’s Dance Cover Contest, 2nd place in Singing Kpop 2014, 2nd place in Singing and Dancing Kpop 2015, top 5 HHT’s Dance for Idol 2015,…
