ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Faculty of Finance and Banking aims to achieve excellence in research, education and training of the disciplines of finance and banking. We ensure international recognition of our degrees by providing standard courses accredited by universities throughout the world. We seek professional recognition by providing courses that meet the subject requirements and training standards set down by relevant professional bodies. This degree provides students with a specialist education in finance and investment. It provides practical knowledge on the processes and mechanism underlying investment. Students will learn about the use of software and sources of information in investment and risk management. This program meets the training standards
and requirements set down by the State Securities Commissions of Vietnam. The program also covers many aspects of
the syllabus for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional
qualifications.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Through Financial Analysis and Investment Management program, students develop skills necessary to work at a high level of expertise in all areas of finance and banking, in both private and public sectors. Job opportunities fall into three general areas:

•    Corporate finance, the finance arm of a business, with which graduates may work as financial analyst or treasurer;
•    Investments that involve trading and managing stocks, bonds, derivatives, and other securities. Graduates may take a role in brokerage, securities analysis and management, and trading;
•    Bankingthat involves working for a bank or other financial intermediaries. Graduates may work as credit analysts, loan officers, or branch managers.
