In May 2017, University of Bedfordshire continues breaking into Top 100 universities in United Kingdom by the Guardian University Guide – a well-known university ranking publication. Besides education and facility quality, the Guardian University Guide also evaluates universities by the increase in the student number satisfied with the university courses as well as the university staffs. 

About this significant recognition, Vice Chancellor Bill Rammell said: “The latest league table rankings affirm that the University of Bedfordshire continues to move forward, and that our commitment to putting students first and providing a truly transformational student experience is increasingly recognized.” He also added: “League tables generally focus on entry requirements rather than aspirations. This is often at odds with our ambition to ensure all our students, no matter what their background, are able to achieve their potential.
