At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU highly appreciated the long tradition of cooperation between the two sides. He emphasized the aim of strengthening cohesion theory with practice in the university operations to improve the quality of human resources for the enterprises.On behalf of EY Vietnam, Mr. Tran Dinh Cuong - Chief Executive Officer expressed their desire to tighten the relationship of cooperation with FTU and committed to support many aspects for FTU students.

EY Vietnam will not only equip the students with necessary knowledge and skills but also share, orientate, counsel and inspire them so that they could maximize their qualities and capacity to towards success. Besides the traditional cooperation contents which has been implementing effectively at FTU such as: fund scholarships for students; sponsor the university operations, receive student internships, hold events, promote brand and participate in the events of the both sides. The strategic partnership agreement between FTU and EY Vietnam also includes career-oriented and entrepreneurship activities of students and put emphasis on the cooperation in teaching, training and research.

The agreement is valid for the period of five years from the moment of its coming into effect, applies to all educational institutions of FTU and both EY offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. The two sides commit to fulfil the terms fully and seriously toward the long-term of sustainable development cooperation.

In addtion, the scholarship awards ceremony was also held in the morning of December 21st, 2016. EY Vietnam and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) had granted scholarships for 7 FTU students who passed the tests and achieved the highest results in the program "Challenges For Growth 2017".
