In recent years, CPA Australia has announced the advance CPA Australia program in Vietnam, thereby open a way for VACPA (Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants) members to participate one of the largest professional Accounting and Auditing organizations in the world. The CPA Australia program is designed to train professionals with high specialized capabilities, effective skills in strategic plan, leadership and international business. It is superior than the traditional accountants. This is the core training goals of FTU for the Accounting and Auditing students.

We are honored to welcome the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU, Dr. Tran Thi Kim Anh - Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, Mr. Adam Awty - Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global Trade of CPA Australia, teachers and students of FTU.

At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan expressed his wish that the content of the agreement would help FTU students have more choices in the way of learning and have more and more competitive advantage after graduation.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang was honored to be awarded the CPA Australia member certificate and was the first member of CPA Australia in FTU. This was the title of the global professional Accounting and Auditing for strategic leaders that was confirmed in expertise. It was also the pride of the individuals who received the certificate. Moreover, this program will enhance competition when lecturers have such certificates.

After the signing ceremony, Mr. Adam Awty - Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global Trade of CPA Australia had a talk with FTU students with the theme " How to take advantages in the ASEAN Economic Community". He analyzed featured areas which the two countries Vietnam - Australia were working together, discussed the new recognition of the ASEAN Agreement (MRA) on accounting and its meaning for the business, finance and accounting students. Along with the increasingly important role of the professional certificate in Vietnam, CPA Australia certificate will provide a significant competitive
advantage for you. CPA Australia has been present in Vietnam since 2008 and in the last 6 years it has established the close relationships with the government, the authorities, professional associations and
leading universities. These relationships have shown the commitment of the CPA Australia in supporting Vietnam to improve the Accounting and Auditing career and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese candidates to achieve CPA title. This was the advantages that the students will receive when they achieve CPA certificate. The certificate is recognized globally will help students who wish to
participate in the ASEAN Economic Community, especially for those who have the desire to move and look for work between one or many member states.

At the end of his talk, Mr. Adam Awty confirmed that CPA Australia is committed to support and promote education and the accounting profession globally and hoped the student could be successful in their career.
