From FTU, there was the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tang Van Nghia - Dean of PostGraduate, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Deputy Dean of PostGraduate with teachers, staffs of FTU and the old and new students of the program along with a numerous Francophone students who interested in this event in Hanoi.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Diadié Diaw - Director of the Master of Europe - Asia Economic Relations Program in Vietnam; Ms. Le Thi Minh Hong - Representative of the Francophone Universities organization, Asia Pacific region.
The Master of Europe - Asia Economic Relations Program is a high quality Master program which was taught 100% in French. It is the cooperation between the Foreign Trade University (Vietnam) and the University of Rennes 2 (France).
FTU got permission from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) to implement training and award master's degree since 2009, in the context of the collaborative relationship is increasingly expanding in various fields between the countries in two continents.
The program aims to train the high quality human resources, experts who work in the state agencies and the Government, companies, multinational corporations ... related to the fields of economics, law, commercial, policy and diplomat of the relationship between Asia and Europe.
After nearly 8 years of training, there were nearly 120 graduate students from many countries and regions such as: France, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Spain, England, .... Many students from various universities in the world has participated in several courses in the program and have had many positive feedbacks about it. In recent years, the program continues to receive the attention of students from other countries besides Asia and Europe such as: Mali, Algeria (Africa), Haiti (America). With strict quality management, the program has been certified 5 star by Jean Monnet European Commission (Master of Francophonie International) and received highly aprreciated from students and Francophone organizations in Vietnam.
The initial success mentioned above, especially the interest of foreign students as well as the support of the Francophone organizations in Hanoi showed highlights of the program for the learner. It also confirmed the quality and reputation through the quality of teaching and output of the trainees and program management.
In the academic year of 2016-2017, the Master of Europe - Asia Economic Relations Program - course 8 welcomed 16 new students enrollment, including 05 Europe students and 11 students in Asia.
These encouraging results that the participants of the program have been achieved were also the motivation, encouragement for the program implementation units. FTU will continue to improve, innovate in management, enhance the quality of training, renew the program's content in order to respond with the change countinuously of the reality.
The next program enrollment will be available on April, 2017 (course 9, academic year of 2017-2018), with the admission schedule on October, 2017.
