On behalf of the Embassy of Japan, there was the presence of Mr. Kunio Umeda - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam together with the Second and Third Secretary. From Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd, there was the participant of Mr. Mitsuru Mitani - President, Vice President and Project Development Manager.

On the side of FTU, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President and leaders of the International Cooperation Department, Faculty of Japanese Language, VJCC.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU warmly welcomed the Ambassador of Japan, President of Mitani Sangyo Company and the distinguished guests who attended the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement. In recognition of the cooperation between FTU and its Japanese counterparts, he said that FTU has always been the pioneer in building and developing cooperative relations with Japan. He appreciated the achievements of Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd and expressed his expectation that the cooperation between two sides would grow more extensive and reap much success in the future.

Mr. Mitsuru Mitani expressed his sincere thanks for the warm reception that FTU has given to him personally and to Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. He also expressed his pleasure at the development of cooperation between two sides, which the living proof is the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement today. He affirmed the advantages and achievements of the company can fully meet the requirements of becoming an important partner of FTU. He expressed his hope for further developments and opportunities for further cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.

Mr. Kunio Umeda expressed his honor at the third visit to FTU. He reviewed the good achievements in the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan and supposed that the two countries still have a lot of potential for cooperation in the future. He also expressed his pleasure at the good cooperation between FTU and Mitani Sangyo Company and wished that the relationship between the two parties would reap much success in the future.

Mr. Tatsuya Aiba - Vice President of Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd gave a speech at the ceremony

Mr. Tatsuya Aiba - Vice President of Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd and Dr. Tran Thi Thu Thuy - Dean of Faculty of Japanese Language affirmed the importance of collaborative research between two sides on the issue of Japanese corporate culture with the theme "Current status and problems of employing new employees in Japanese enterprises". FTU and Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd emphasized that this was an important research project towards medium and long-term goals, therefore, the results would have great significant for the development of both sides.

At the ceremony, all delegates were also listening to the congratulatory letter by the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan in the presence of the good cooperation between the two sides.

Finally, all the participants witnessed the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement and joint research agreement between FTU and Mitani Sangyo. The content of the cooperation agreement focuses on the following issues:

- Support for academic exchange activities and apply the results of scientific research into real life;

- Promote the development of industry, economy and assist in co-operation between the company and FTU;

- Technical cooperation and training the global human resources worldwide.
