The closing ceremony of the 9th & 10th Senior Business Program - Keieijuku

On August 24th, 2018, the closing ceremony of the 9th and 10th Keieijuku Business Courses – a course provided for managers of Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises and sponsored by Japanese Government - took place at Vietnam-Japan Institute for Human Resources Development (VJCC).

The ceremony honorably welcomed the presence of representatives of Japanese diplomatic agencies, namely Mr. Kunio UMEDA - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Viet Nam; Mr. WATANABE GO, First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Tetsuo KONAKA - Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam Office; Mr. Hironobu KITAGAWA - Representative Office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO); Mr. Atsuto Kimura – General Secretary of Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).

The ceremony also welcomed the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU - Director of VJCC Project; other members of board of directors, Assoc. Prof. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice president of FTU; Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of Foreign Trade University; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien - Director of VJCC Institute; experts and specialists of JICA; head of different departments from Foreign Trade University; journalists and reporters.

Representing the program’s organizers, Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, President of Foreign Trade University has congratulated 58 participants including business managers and lecturers from FTU on having successfully completed Keieijuku 9th and 10th courses held in Hanoi.

The president appreciated the serious and active learning spirit among participants, especially when it comes to applying knowledge gained from the course into the practice of their businesses and initially obtained good results. The president believed that the goals set by each learner since the beginning days of the courses have been fulfilled. He also expected that Keieijuku’s entrepreneurs would actively participate in the Keieijuku Business Community with more than 400 members by means of sharing, supporting and cooperating with each other, so as to contribute to the development of the Vietnamese industry in the upcoming time.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Kunio UMEDA - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam expressed his delight witnessing the success of the Keieijuku 9th and 10th courses, one of the activities in the series celebrating the 45th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and Japan. The Ambassador expressed his expectation that after graduating from Keieijuku, Vietnamese business managers, especially the ones in supporting industries, would become entrepreneurs with profound insight of Japanese business philosophy and entrepreneurship, from which they can make the best out of every opportunity to enhance the economic and commercial cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

For each Keieijuku course, after 10 months of studying, including 2 weeks of internship in Japan, participants have successfully presented their graduation reports and received the certificates, commemorative trophies and flowers from the President of the Foreign Trade University, the Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam and JICA Representative. 

Keieijuku is a course specifically designed for Vietnamese business managers. Its sessions focus on providing participants with the opportunity to learn and acquire practical knowledge and tools for effective and sustainable business administration. In particular, after 2 weeks of practicing in Japan, participants are expected to gain experiences shared by Japanese entrepreneurs, thus developing a better understanding of Japanese business, culture and people.

It can be said that values of the Keieijuku Senior Business Course has significantly been proved thanks to the sincere appreciation of participants themselves together with their positive business performance after the course. Moreover, it is the Keieijuku business community that always maintains a close bond among its members who share the same voice and aim at the same target in the hope of growing and spreading value of Japanese business management in Vietnam.
