FTU news: On June 15th, 2015, Foreign Trade University solemnly held the closing ceremony in Vietnam for students of the Bachelor of Business Training program between FTU & Bedfordshire University (UK).

Students Dao Quang Tuan (FB5A) on behalf of students course 5 gave a sincere thanks to the British Ambassador in Vietnam, the President of Bedfordshire University, Managing Board and Dean of International Education of FTU

Attending the ceremony, there were the presence of: Mr. Giles Lever - The British Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Ian Robinson - Deputy Director of British Council in Vietnam; Mr. Bill Rammel - the President of Bedfordshire; Mr. Lewis Rhidian - Head of Business Administration of Bedfordshire University, Board of Presidents of FTU; Faculty of International Education of FTU (The unit in charge directly of the training program); teachers; parents and all the students of the program.

The Bachelor of Business Training program between Foreign Trade University and the University of Bedforshire is built by the British standards. It is completely an "import program" from the University of Bedforshire and is taught 100% in English. On the first three years, students study in Vietnam. And on the final year, students can choose to
transfer to England or may continue their studies at the Foreign Trade University and get bachelor's degree in business from the University of Bedfordshire. In the academic year 2014 - 2015, students course 5 - Bachelor of Business program has made laudable efforts in learning foreign languages as well as training. Although the requirements of the program before transition must meet the minimum language of IELTS 6.0, but there are many students who achieved superior results than that. In particular, there are four students who achieved IELTS 7.0 and 8 students achieved IELTS 6.5. In order to praise the learning spirit of FTU students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of Foreign Trade University awarded to seven students with excellent academic performance and got highest IELTS score.

The President of Bedfordshire (UK) - Mr. Bill Rammel highly appreciate the efforts of FTU students. He awarded 76 scholarships for students course 5 - Bachelor of Business program with a total value of scholarships up to 133,000 pounds (equivalent to 4 billion and 655 million Vietnamese Dong). The mobilization of both substance and morale from both sides of two universities will become the baggage for students course 5 - Bachelor of Business program to fulfill the final year of a bachelor's studies and receive a diploma from the University of Bedfordshire.
