The opening ceremony of the 11th Senior Business Program - Keieijuku

On May 28th, 2018, the Vietnam - Japan Human Resources Cooperation Center (VJCC) of Foreign Trade University (FTU) held an opening ceremony of the 11th Senior Business Program - Keieijuku at the third floor of VJCC Building.

There was the participant of Mr. Naoki Kakioka - Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam, Ms. Nagura Kazuko - Deputy Chief Representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President, Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Chau - Former President - Editor in Chief of the External Economies Review, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien - Director of VJCC, leaders of some units, the management board of KEIEIJUKU Club and 30 new students of 11th course of Keieijuku.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien - Director of VJCC confirmed that the Keieijuku program aimed to train businesspeople in Japanese style. VJCC has continued to hold its 11th Keieijuku Advanced Business Program based on the good achievements that inherited from the previous 10 courses of Keieijuku, plus improvements, innovations to enhance connectivity, not just within the manufacturing business community but also business connections with partners and the Japanese market.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU sent greetings and special messages to 29 trainees who were leaders, managers of businesses and a teacher of FTU who have been accepted into the 11th Keieijuku course this year. He expressed his delight at the success of VJCC, especially with the Keieijuku program. For new learners, he emphasized that through the Keieijuku program, the new students would learn not only the business philosophy but also the way of business success of the Japanese and apply them to our companies in the business environment of Vietnam today, contribute to promote the process of international integration of enterprises.

Mr. Naoki Kakioka - Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam also said over the past 15 years, through VJCC Institute of FTU, JICA has carried out the technical cooperation activities to train human resources to assume the responsibility of developing the Vietnamese economy. The Senior Business Program - Keieijuku is a course that focuses on the elite knowledge of Japan to train the heads of Vietnamese enterprises. Mr. Kakioka also congratulated 30 Keieijuku practitioners on the 11th Keieijuku course and expressed the message that each student through this Keieijuku program would absorb the Japanese style of management and promoted the central role in the industrialization of Vietnam.

Along with the congratulations to the new practitioners of Keieijuku, Ms. Nagura Kazuko - Deputy Chief Representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) affirmed that the businessenvironment in Vietnam has been changing significantly. For those who are doing business in Vietnam, the competition with foreign goods and services will be increasingly fierce. In order to win the game, businesses must first build a more effective governance system. She hoped that the Keieijuku course would help participants to find solutions for that problem.

In a warm and cozy atmosphere, 30 new students have been introduced. The new students will start the first week of the course with special lectures by JICA expert - Mr. Toda Chosaku - Former Director of the US Market, Panasonic Corporation of Japan with the theme "Building a business for tomorrow".
