From Sumitomo Group, there was Mr. Hidemasa Kozawa - General Director of Sumitomo Vietnam, Mr. Shigeki Ohno - General Manager of the Department of Sustainable Development of Enterprises, Mr. Akira Makiuchi – Deputy General Manager, Ms. Natsu Hashimoto – Deputy General Manager of Corporate Planning & Coordination Department.

On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Head of the Department of International Cooperation, teachers and a large number of students.

On behalf of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President sent the warmest greetings to the delegation from Sumitomo Corporation and warmly welcomed the delegation to continue on the annual lecture for students of FTU. She assumed that today's lecture not only provided insights on the trend of sustainable development and how humans could contribute to the humanity, but also provided a platform for the participants to share and contribute ideas to promote sustainable development, social welfare system and build policies for the green economy. She also expressed her sincere thanks to Sumitomo Corporation for its commitment for social responsibility. Finally, she wished the Sumitomo Group a more successful business in Vietnam and the cooperation between Sumitomo Group and FTU became more and more effective and in the long term.

Next, the expert from Sumitomo Corporation, Mr. Shigeki Ohno delivered a lecture entitled "Sustainable Growth with Society". The lecture focused on issues such as the introduction of Sumitomo Corporation and its business activities in Vietnam, corporate governance principles for sustainable social development, group initiatives on sustainable development, deal with social issues through business. At the end of the lecture, Q & A and discussion between students and experts from the Group took place in a lively and open atmosphere. The students have had interesting questions for the experts and have received satisfactory and useful answers.

Previously, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice President of FTU, Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Head of International Cooperation Department have had a meeting with experts from Sumitomo Corporation. The President warmly welcomed the delegation to lecture for FTU's students. He highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between FTU and Sumitomo Corporation during the past through the award of scholarships and lectures which have been granted to students of FTU. He expressed his wish that the relationship between both sides would continue to develop sustainably and permanently through the expansion of other cooperation range and areas which two sides have strength and potential development.

The experts from the Sumitomo Group expressed their deep thanks for the warm and friendly reception of leaders, lecturers and students of FTU. They affirmed the long term cooperation relationship with FTU was always appreciated. At the same time, the delegation also acknowledged the suggestions of FTU's leaders to further expand the fields of cooperation between both sides and promised to convey the ideas of the President to the Executive Board of Sumitomo Group for timely consideration.
