Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU highly appreciated the role of JETRO in promoting trade and investment with Vietnam. He asserted that FTU has always been a pioneer in speeding up cooperation with Japan, especially in the field of education.

Mr. Hironobu Kitagawa - Chief Representative of JETRO expressed his pleasure at better relationship between Vietnam and Japan. He said that the signing of a cooperation agreement between JETRO and FTU today was a living proof of that relationship. He hoped the content of the cooperation agreement would be implemented soon in the future and brought practical value for both sides.

Subsequently, leaders of FTU and JETRO signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and gave souvenirs to each other. The content of the cooperation agreement focuses on: Promoting academic exchange and giving research results into practice; Promoting the development of industry, economy and the cooperation between the university and Japanese enterprises; Technical cooperation and training of human resources globally and some other areas of cooperation.
