From Chosun University, there were the presence of: Dr. Dong Oan Kang - President, Dr. Hyung Shik Jung - Dean of Graduate School, Dr. Hong Sang Kee - Team Leader of International Affairs Office, Dr. Sung Geun Hong - Director of Mthematics Department, Dr. Jae Won Choi - Adjunct Professor.

From FTU, there were the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Director of International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thu Ha - Director of FTU Innovation and Incubation Space, Ms. Le Thu Ha - Department of International Cooperation.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan warmly welcomed the delegation of Chosun University to visit and work with FTU.

To strengthen international ties in education, training, and research between Foreign Trade University (FTU), Vietnam, and Chosun University (CU), Republic of Korea, hereby enter into this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This Memorandum of Understanding lays the foundation from which FTU and CU can develop and enhance their distinction and reputation as internationally-recognized universities. To accomplish this undertaking, this MOU seeks to facilitate the collaboration of the following activities:

a) Exchange of faculty members, researchers, and administrative staff;
b) Exchange of students;
c) Development of innovation and start-up programs for staff, lecturers and students;
d) Exchange of academic information and materials;
e) Implementation of collaborative research projects;
f) Implementation of lectures and conferences;
g) Promotion of other collaborative activities on which the Universities agree.

This MOU shall commence on the date of its execution by the last to sign of FTU and CU and shall remain in force for a period of five years and may be renewed upon its expiry and with the agreement of both parties.
Either FTU or CU may terminate the MOU by giving notice in writing six months in advance to the other. The termination of this MOU shall not affect the implementation of the projects or programmes established under it prior to such termination.

At the end of the ceremony, the two universities have signed a framework of cooperation agreement in the above areas and agreed to continue to have more exchanges and work in order to implement cooperation in the future.
