There were the presence of Mr. Park Sang Sik - Korean Ambassador in Vietnam, Mr. Baek Woon Jae - Lotte Coralis Director, Rectors and Vice- Rectors along with students of universities that received scholarships.

From FTU, there were the presence of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Dr. Bui Lien Ha - Deputy Head of Undergraduate Training & Management Department.

The Lotte Foundation was founded in 1983 from the idea of the Chairman of the Lotte Group - Mr. Shin Kyuk-Ho, who are fully aware of the significance of education to future generation. Being present in Vietnam from 1996, the Lotte Group have significantly contributed to the socio-economic development of Vietnam. Notably, a distinguished investment in education from the Lotte Group is the Lotte scholarship which started in 2008 and have granted scholarship to hundreds of students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on a biannual basis.
