Participating in the ceremony, there were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nham Huyen - Rector of Phan Dinh Phung High School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc - Dean of Faculty of International Education, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Thuy - Dean of Japanese Faculty and the first and second course students of the program.

At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Thuy summarized the development of the program as follows: with a small scale and number of students, the program has focused on the quality of teaching. The students who participated in the program have had good initial results. Some of them have worked or studied Master's degree in Japan, or returned home and joined large Japanese companies in Vietnam.

Students who studied at FTU after a year and a half, were highly appreciated for their expertise and serious and enthusiastic academic attitudes when studied abroad in Japan. This were the result of the effort of both students and teachers of FTU's Japanese Faculty.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU warmly congratulated the students who completed the first stage of the program. He also said this was the 10th year (from March 2007 to March 2017) in the history of cooperation between Foreign Trade University and Aomori Chuou Gakuin University. This was a durable development cooperation relationship and the first course students of the programs was the first batch of the new period in the relationship of the two universities. In addtion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan praised the Japanese Faculty for always tried to create the opportunities for students to study and experience in Japan.

In recent years, the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan has been growing. Japan has become a strategic partner of Vietnam in general and Foreign Trade University in particular. As one of the few universities in Vietnam which trains Japanese, FTU will continue to have new activities to promote this cooperation. It will also create more chances for students who are studying as well as graduated. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan emphasized that there will be 3000 Japanese enterprises in Vietnam in 2020. The demand for high quality human resources, professional knowledge and Japanese language will also increase significantly. It will be a great opportunity for those who are studying Japanese.

On behalf of the students who were awarded this certificate, Mr. Dan Hoang Nghia - a student of this program gave his sincere thanks to the teachers of Japanese Faculty, and promised to strive to deserve the expectations of the teachers, and worth the name: Foreign Trade students.
