Receiving the invitation from the partner school for the 70th founding ceremony of Aomori Chuo Gakuin university, the representatives of Foreign Trade University, including Assoc. Prof. Dr Le Thi Thu Thuy – Vice President of FTU, Dr Tran Thi Thu Thuy – Head of Japanese faculty, and Assoc. Prof. Dr Ho Thuy Ngoc – Head of Department of International Education, had participated in the business trip and visit of the university from October 26th 2016 to October 30th 2016.

Aomori Chuo Gakuin University is the first and only university in Japanese that has Business – Law as the main academic program. Aomori Chuo Gakuin university has been one of the longest and most credible partners with FTU. In October 26th 2016, the representatives from FTU had a visit to congratulate on the 70th founding ceremony.

During the visit, the representatives from FTU also took part in the Vietnam - Japan Economic Exchange Conference with the Economics – Law faculty of Aomori Chuo Gakuin university, as well as the international conference with the theme of human resources training and trade promoting between the two countries. In the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr Le Thi Thu Thuy delivered a presentation which received a lot of consideration and positive feedbacks of the participants.

During the business trip, the representatives of FTU and Aomori Chuo Gakuin university also took part in the wrap-up meeting of the implementation of the degree program in Economics - Law (1.5 + 3 model) training cooperation between the two universities; discussion on the partnership in student recruitment and program implementation in the near future; as well as promoting convenient conditions for FTU students participating in the program to enjoy. While the program has just started recently, the opportunities for students participating in the program are remarkable.
