In the morning of October 29^th 2017, the Final Contest of the Talented Auditors Cup 2017 (TAC 2017) took place at the Pupil - Student Cultural House. 

On October 20th 2017, the Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Program (IPP2) which was cooperated with the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Foreign Trade University (FTU) officially opened the Training Course for Training of Trainers (Tot2) on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Start-up for 32 lecturers from 13 universities at HUST.

On October 16^th 2017, Foreign Trade University (FTU) officially held the opening ceremony of the Bachelor of Business Administration program between FTU and SolBridge International School of Business, Woosong University (South Korea).

On October 16th 2017, the opening ceremony of the Associate Bachelor Program in International Financial Services between the Foreign Trade University (FTU) and the London Metropolitan University (cohort 4) and the Master's degree program in Financial Management between FTU and the University of Rennes 1 (cohort 7) took place at FTU. In addtion, the Graduation Ceremony for FTU - LMET program (cohort 3) was also held on the same day.

On October 17^th 2017, the Lotte Group, Korea held a formal ceremony to award the 20th Lotte Scholarship to 78 students who had excellent academic achievements from 8 universities in Hanoi including Vietnam National University, 18 students of Foreign Trade University (FTU), National Economics University, Hanoi University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National University of Civil Engineering, University of Financial and Banking, Thang Long University.

On 09th October 2017, the Opening Ceremony of the Joint Training Program of the Master of Commerce and Asia-Europe Economic Relations academic year 2017-2018 and the Closing Ceremony of the IMAGERI project took place at the Foreign Trade University (FTU).

On 30^th September, 2017, The final round of “Greenovation Challenge 2017” contest was held at Au Co Theater by the Association of Students of Foreign Trade University under the sponsorship of the Faculty of Economics and International Business, FTU and the co-operation of Coca Cola Vietnam - the main sponsor for the contest.

On 3^rd October 2017, the Faculty of International Education solemnly organized the Graduation Ceremony for 23 newly graduate from the 6^th intake of Bachelor of Business Studies program and the very first intake of Master of Science in Finance and Business Management in cooperation with University of Bedfordshire.

In the cheerful and jubilant atmosphere of the school starting season, our freshman students of Foreign Trade University gratefully celebrated their very first Opening Ceremony at Foreign Trade University.

On 17th September, 2017, FTU Alumni Asscociation (FAA) solemnly held the Former Students Day of the Foreign Trade Universit (FTU) at the Reunification Palace in Ho Chi Minh City. On the same day, a meeting of alumni of FTU was also held in a cozy atmosphere in Osaka, Japan. This year's theme of FAA Day 2017 was Alumni Fair, Alumni Talk and Gala Dinner Alumni Upstart.
