The ceremony was attended by Mr. Harris Pastides - President of the University of South Carolina. On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Thuy Anh - Dean of International Economics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong - Dean of Business Administration, MSc. Pham Thanh Ha - Head of Advanced Program Office of Economics and International Business.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, on behalf of Foreign Trade University, sent the warmest greetings to the President of the University of South Carolina and his colleagues who also attended this formal signing ceremony. The two sides have briefly introduced each university and reviewed the work that both sides have prepared during the past time to get the signing ceremony today.

FTU and the University of South Carolina exchanged more deeply on the field of cooperation and agreed to sign the memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation, first of all was the field of student exchange and would continue to discuss further opportunities for cooperation in other potential areas such as faculty exchange, built and developed 2+2, 3+1, 4+1 transition programs in Business Administration and International Business, cooperation in joint research, logistics training and supply chain management. The signing ceremony takes place in a solemn atmosphere, which opens the prospect of further cooperation between the two universities in the future.
