I - Invest! is the largest financial and economics competition in the whole North for students that was organized by the Foreign Trade University (FTU).

With the goal of bringing connectivity, direction and building a solid foundation in the future, the I - Invest! 2017 was organized with the theme "Different Experiences", which offered the opportunity to express the students bravery, confidence and refresh themselves.

In his opening speech delivered at the Final Night, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of FTU - Head of Organizing Committee of I – Invest! 2017 confirmed that the competition I - Invest! after 8 years of organization has become very popular not only for FTU students but also for students nationwide. He also praised the improvements in rules and exam this year when the competition was closer to the reality of the profession in order to create an attractive playground for students.

Over the last four rounds of intense competition which was lasted more than three months, the I - Invest! 2017 has selected 5 outstanding students, surpassing more than 4000 contestants from all over Universities in the North to enter the final night.
These were: Mr. Le Duc Anh from National Economics University; Mr. Nguyen Trong Dinh Tam from the Academy of Finance; Ms. Hoang Thi Kieu Chinh from Foreign Trade University; Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong from Banking Academy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu from Foreign Trade University.

Entering the competition, all contestants showed their determination through each round. After the first round: "Warm-up!" and the second round: "Speed-up!", the two contestants: Mr. Nguyen Trong Dinh Tam and Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu had excellent performances with the scores of 110 and 60. That was the first two students which entered the third round: "Boost-up!". The remaining three candidates with lower scores continued to enter the "Play-off!" round for the judges to select a worthy entrant to enter the contest.

At the end of the "Play-off!" round, all three contestants received very sincere and accurate comments from the judges. Candidates were given the basics of the question and presented specific and correct definitions in a confident manner. With impressive performance, Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong from Banking Academy got the final chance into the third round.

The third round was considered to be the best round of the competition when simulating a real meeting. For the excellent performance, Mr. Nguyen Trong Dinh Tam and Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu was selected to the final round: "Light - up!".

After 4 rounds of competition, Mr. Nguyen Trong Dinh Tam has become the champion of I - Invest! 2017 with his talents and skill.

The eighth season of the Final night of I - Invest! 2017 has ended with many different emotions and experiences. I - Invpest! promises to continue to be an exciting and useful playground for students who interested in Economics - Finance in the next season.
